Treasure Hunter

Release date: 2007. My friends and I made this XNA (Xbox 360) game for Microsoft’s Dream Build Play contest. It’s kind of like Bomberman, in that you’re on a non-scrolling play area competing with up to 3 other people or AIs. The object is to grab all of your treasures before time runs out.

This was fun times, made during a weird few months right after a game I was working on got cancelled, causing work to screech to a halt and leaving me with my nights and weekends free. It was a great excuse to play with C#, a language I’ve really come to enjoy, and the XNA platform, which is much better than you think it is, even if its sprite and text rendering libraries are an abomination.
