And, yes, as mentioned there, we do have a Blackberry version of Don’t Dial in the works, so all of you Blackberry users, please help spread the word!
More media coverage, this time from the Lone Star state.
The Daily Pennsylvanian has a nice write up on Don’t Dial that appeared today. Check it out!
We just posted a new version of “9 Sounds for 99 cents” to the Android Marketplace! Version 1.1 adds the #1 most requested feature – the ability to copy sounds from your SD card, so you can download the sounds on your PC and then just load them onto the phone. Thanks for the good ideas, and keep them coming!
A couple days ago, the awesome tech and gadgetry news site TechCrunch mentioned Don’t Dial – check it out here!
A few days ago Don’t Dial stormed onto the iPhone App Store, and has quickly become our top-selling app. Check it out if you find yourself prone to fits of drunk dialing and/or drunk texting. I’ve posted a new video of the iPhone version in action.
Otherwise, quiet but busy – look for an update to 9 Sounds coming soon, as well as Mom’s Voice: Flashcards, free edition!
Our first app just went live on the iPhone app store! It’s called Mom’s Voice: Flashcards and if you’ve got a toddler, it’ll let you create custom flashcard games for them. You can record your own voice asking the questions, and you can create the cards by taking pictures with your phone’s camera, or by importing pics from your library. Create quizzes from photos of your little one’s family members, their favorite toys, their favorite foods, anything! And when they get bored with one flashcard set, instead of spending more money, you just create one yourself!
Mom’s Voice: Flashcards is available right now in the app store!
We’re proud to announce two new apps debuting with the launch of the Android Marketplace!
The first one is Don’t Dial, and there isn’t any other app like it available. Don’t Dial locks out phone numbers and email addresses for a certain amount of time, so you won’t drunk dial your ex, your boss, your ex-boss, or anyone else you choose. For less than what you will (or should!) tip your bartender over the course of the night, you can be protected. You can “time lock” your contacts until, say, 8am tomorrow, or If you’re going out with a friend, you can have them enter a password. This makes them your “designated dialer,” and they decide when you’re sober enough to call. This app will be on the iPhone too, very, very soon (it’s awaiting Apple approval right now).
The next app is 9 Sounds for 99 cents, which lets you download up to 9 MP3s from anywhere on the Internet. If you can get to the sound through http://, this app will download it, store it and let you play it back instantly, at the touch of a giant button. This is a tiny app with big pranking possibilities, and it also comes with some secret sounds that you might be able to unlock if you guess the secret words right. This one’s only on Android for now, and will be purchasable once the market is online.
As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas! This is just the start, check back soon for more apps!
