Our First Two Apps!

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

We’re proud to announce two new apps debuting with the launch of the Android Marketplace!

The first one is Don’t Dial, and there isn’t any other app like it available.  Don’t Dial locks out phone numbers and email addresses for a certain amount of time, so you won’t drunk dial your ex, your boss, your ex-boss, or anyone else you choose.  For less than what you will (or should!) tip your bartender over the course of the night, you can be protected.  You can “time lock” your contacts until, say, 8am tomorrow, or If you’re going out with a friend, you can have them enter a password.  This makes them your “designated dialer,” and they decide when you’re sober enough to call.  This app will be on the iPhone too, very, very soon (it’s awaiting Apple approval right now).

The next app is 9 Sounds for 99 cents, which lets you download up to 9 MP3s from anywhere on the Internet.  If you can get to the sound through http://, this app will download it, store it and let you play it back instantly, at the touch of a giant button.  This is a tiny app with big pranking possibilities, and it also comes with some secret sounds that you might be able to unlock if you guess the secret words right.  This one’s only on Android for now, and will be purchasable once the market is online.

As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas!  This is just the start, check back soon for more apps!
